Mary House in Hastings welcomed its first two residents in November 2005 and is now home to eight young adults with profound learning disabilities. |

| The home is situated in a residential part of Hastings in East Sussex, close to the centre of town but with the added benefit of overlooking a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Hastings offers all the amenities of a popular seaside town but is most famously known for its battle in 1066. |

| Mary House looks and feels like the sort of home we would all like to live in, bright spacious and tidy but very homely and welcoming. |
| The home was designed by an architect to provide spacious, light and airy surroundings with level access from the bedrooms and living rooms to the courtyard and gardens. |
| One of the most important considerations for the welfare of our residents is the standard of equipment and facilities in the home which includes aromatherapy, reflexology, physiotherapy and massage. In the future we hope to build a hydrotherapy unit and a day centre which will offer outstanding facilities and benefits for the young people we care for. |
