Fundraising
Volunteer fundraisers are vital to Martha Trust. We are very grateful that so many friends already volunteer their time and talents but we urgently need more people to fundraise for us either on a one-off basis or on a regular basis. Fundraising is vital to increase facilities and opportunities for our residents at Martha Trust.
Recycle for Martha Trust
Martha Trust has partnered up with a leading recycling company to recycle your unwanted items and help to raise funds for the Trust in the process.
Mobile phones and used inkjet and toner cartridges                            Martha Trust is asking businesses, schools, groups and individuals to help raise funds by recycling old mobile phones, used inkjet cartridges and toner cartridges. Old Mobile phones are worth up to £65, inkjet cartridges can be worth as much as £3 each, and toner cartridges can be worth up to £8 each.
Recycling is easy; once registered, organisations receive collection boxes suitable for mobiles and cartridges. These boxes are collected free, and the value of the equipment is donated directly to Martha Trust. To register your company or school, please download the PDF (22kb) and register direct with Office Green Technologies or alternatively please email us or call 01304 610448.
Individuals can also donate their mobile phones and the small inkjet cartridges using a freepost address. Wrap phones with tissue to protect them, and wrap inkjets with plastic to protect other post from leaking ink and seal in a strong envelope then send to: The Martha Trust, Freepost LON11452, Barking, IG11 0TW.
Emily Shepherd, Operations and Development Manager at Martha Trust, commented “This recycling scheme is fantastic, as it benefits our residents at Martha Trust and helps the environment.”
