1981 Julia Knowles began fundraising for Martha House at Hacklinge, Deal.
1987 Martha House was officially opened by HRH Princess Alexandra.
1996 Martha House was extended to include a hydrotherapy pool and Day Care Centre.
1998 Frances House was opened alongside Martha House in Deal.
2000 TV’s Charlie Dimmock and her 'Garden Army' created a sensory garden at Martha House.
2001 Martha House was renovated and extended to accommodate 12 residents and one respite care place.
2004 Building work began on Mary House in Hastings.
2005 The Countess of Wessex officially opened Mary House, home to eight residents.
2006 Frances House was converted to provide residential care for five young adults.
2007 Fundraising began to extend Mary House to accommodate four more care places and a hydrotherapy pool.
2008 Futurebuilders and CharityBank invested in the Mary House project and work began to enlarge Frances House.
2009 Work finished on the Frances House extension and four residents were welcomed to their new home.
2010 Fundraising began to renovate the Deal hydrotherapy pool and the Ability Swing was installed at Frances House.
2011 The hydrotherapy pool at Deal was renovated and music and sound systems were fitted at both pools.
