Domestic Assistant – Deal

8 hours per week (2 x 4 hour shifts with a minimum of 2 days between each shift)
Salary: £11.44 per hour

At Martha Trust our mission is to provide lifelong residential and respite care for people with profound physical and multiple learning disabilities and to provide a high standard of support to their families.

We are recruiting for a part – time Domestic Assistant for our homes in Deal. You will be working in a homely environment where teamwork and individual support are high priorities. You will be responsible for the office and activity areas and ensure they are cleaned to the highest possible standard, as well as deep cleaning of the staff kitchen once a month.

You will need to be able to work as part of a team with good communication skills and have a general understanding of the importance of hygiene/cleanliness. An NVQ level 2 in Cleaning is desirable but this is not essential. You may also be required to work additional hours to cover sickness and/or annual leave within the domestic team which would involve working in the homes.
