Senior Support Worker – Hastings
Salary from: £12.13 per hour
An opportunity has arisen for a full and Part time Senior Support Workers in Mary House.
You will be working in a friendly environment where teamwork and individual support are high priorities. You will be responsible to supervise, motivate and support Support Workers and ensure the delivery of the highest standards of care for the residents, both individually and in groups by accessing a range of therapies and social activities.
You will be responsible to the Nurse in charge for providing and maintaining a homely atmosphere and will need a keen interest in caring for people, ensuring that the rights and dignity of our residents are respected at all times.
Our homes are vibrant and busy, where no two days are the same!
An NVQ3 or equivalent in Care would be an advantage along with a good understanding of our client group and previous experience in activity co-ordination and implementation.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and to be able to delegate and give clear instruction is vital for the role.
