Humphrey ClarkeHumphrey Clarke, Chair of Trustees

Humphrey is father to Beth who is one of our respite residents. Humphrey’s expertise is in building engineering and he advises Martha on a range of issues.

 

John QuinJohn Quin

John is a former CEO who chaired the MAF UK Board from 2007 to 2010. John offers financial expertise, advice and support to our CEO and support to our Director of Resources.

 

Liz AcarnleyLiz Acarnley

Liz is an experienced nurse and midwife who supports our Home Managers and offers clinical governance advice to Martha.

 

Amy ChapmanAmy Chapman

Amy is studying an LLB with honours degree in Law and is able to offer legal advice and support to Martha.

 

Andrew Giles

Andrew is a specialist teacher, who works with the UK’s largest Christian disability charity, Livability, and is Principal Officer for Life Long Learning. He is passionate about promoting the service user voice and personalised planning and brings with him a huge amount of knowledge and expertise to Martha.

 

Richard Pitt

Richard Pitt is a practicing solicitor in Canterbury, whose work covers all aspects of private client care, and a member of the Christian Fellowship of Lawyers.

 

Robert Sparkes

Robert is a father of three, and an IT professional with NHS and private sector experience. He is currently Regional Manager for a software company where he manages a healthcare deployment team delivering projects in a range of healthcare settings.

 

 

Roger Walton

Roger trained as a chartered civil engineer and after an early career in the private sector is now a Director with Dover District Council. Married and a father of two, he is Chair of Governors at a local primary school and a member of Dover Rotary Club.
