London 2026 Challenge

Fancy joining Team Martha in 2026 by taking on an epic challenge?

This year’s London marathon is taking place on Sunday 26th April. We have the opportunity for you to take on your own marathon related challenge. Simply complete the marathon distance of 26.2 miles (42.2km) but across a week and raise money for Martha and earn yourself a medal.

This virtual race is open to everyone, and you can run or walk as far as you can (broken down in as many stages as you like) but you must reach a minimum of the marathon distance (42.2km) between 20th April 2026 – 26th April 2026 to earn your exclusive medal! All submissions must be received by Virtual Runner UK ahead of the deadline of 12 noon on 29th April 2026 to claim your medal.

Virtual Runner UK only require one upload of evidence, so please submit this to them once you have completed your challenge.

If you’d like to take up the challenge you need to sign up direct with Virtual Runner UK online. Entry costs  £13 with 20% of the sale being donated to Martha.  We’d love you to fundraise as part of your challenge so we’d really encourage you to set up a Just Giving page to raise funds too!
