Roger trained as a chartered civil engineer and after an early career in the private sector is now a Director with Dover District Council. Married and a father of two, he is Chair of Governors at a local primary school and a member of Dover Rotary Club.
Humphrey’s daughter, Beth, has profound disabilities and first came into contact with Martha after Beth came to stay with us for respite. Humphrey’s expertise is in building engineering and he advises Martha on a range of issues.
John is a former CEO who chaired the MAF UK Board from 2007 to 2010. John offers financial expertise, advice and support to our CEO and support to our Director of Resources.
Georgina has been involved with Fitzroy Support, a learning disability charity, since 1990 and sat on the board of Trustees from 2001 – 2016. During which time she gained considerable experience in governance and has a thorough knowledge of the learning disability sector.
Richard Pitt is a practicing solicitor in Canterbury, whose work covers all aspects of private client care, and a member of the Christian Fellowship of Lawyers.
Rebecca is a GP working in the local area. She qualified from Guy’s Hospital and after junior doctor roles in London, went on to train as a GP in Sheffield. She settled with her family in Buckinghamshire where she worked as a GP Partner for 20 years, with responsibility for the clinical care of a large boarding school and a local care home as well as board level experience in the CCG. Rebecca and her family have moved back to Walmer close to where she was brought up and is very pleased to bring her experience to offer clinical support to the team at Martha.
Robert is a father of three, and an IT professional with NHS and private sector experience. He has lived in Deal for over 20 years and is delighted to be able to use his experience to help Martha.
